The Madrid municipality debuts four state-of-the-art bilateral collectors, operated by Urbaser, to optimize the municipal waste service.
The Torrelodones City Council has taken a key step in modernizing its urban services with the launch of a new waste collection system. The town now has four bilateral collection units with DULE system® technology, an investment aimed at improving the efficiency and sustainability of street cleaning.
This technological renewal has been carried out through Urbaser, the service's concessionaire in the municipality. The main innovation lies in the equipment's bilateral system, which allows containers to be loaded from both sides of the road.
With this implementation, Torrelodones seeks not only to speed up the service but also to reduce polluting emissions and noise in residential areas, aligning with current standards for smart waste management.
