PALVI, SL continues its strategic expansion across Spain with a new delivery of its automated bilateral collection systems in Dénia (Alicante). With a permanent population of 44,000 that surges to 200,000 during the summer peak, Dénia stands as one of the region’s most critical locations in terms of service demand and operational scale.
With over one hundred units now operating across twenty Spanish regions, 2023 has become a landmark year for PALVI, particularly in the Levant region. This latest deployment of the DULE System®—a bilateral, single-operator, top-loading collection system featuring Kinshofer double-kinship lifting technology—has been implemented by the service contractor URBASER, SA, utilizing sustainable CNG-powered chassis.
The new DULE System® fleet consists of the following configurations:
5 units: ALPA-12-KG Manipulator Robot with CFS-23-DS fixed collector-compactor (23 m³).
3 units: ALPA-12-KG Manipulator Robot with CFS-17-DS fixed collector-compactor (17 m³).
1 unit: ALPA-12-KG Manipulator Robot equipped with OPTIMA 22S51 hooklift and CMS-20-DS interchangeable mobile compactor (20 m³).
1 unit: ARCALIS interchangeable container washer.
The DULE System® incorporates unique technical specifications that enhance reliability and service productivity. Managed by a single operator, the entire process is monitored via a touchscreen display in the cabin, supported by a comprehensive camera network covering the sides, hopper, and the interior of the coupling gripper. These integrated components ensure seamless coordination for "smart," fully automated collection. By meeting the highest safety standards, this system will allow Dénia to increase its waste collection and recycling ratios, fostering a more modern, sustainable, and energy-efficient city.
